CLASSIC EASTERN EUROPE TOUR ? JUNE 2008 What a memorable week this was! We love to visit places of natural beauty and architecture. Eastern Europe has both. Charles Bridge and Astronomical Clock in Prague, the spa town of Karlovy Vary and the Ossuary Chapel in Kutna Hora were amazing. The Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna has very rich history. Our favourite place in the Palace was the room where 6 year old Amadeus (Mozart) played before the Empress of Austria in 1762. We thought Rome and Paris were the most beautiful cities in Europe, until we saw Budapest. The twin cities of Buda and Pest on the banks of the River Danube are joined by Elizabeth Bridge, Margaret Bridge and the famous Chain Bridge (where Ashwariya Rai met Salman Khan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam). The Castle, Fisherman?s Bastion and the very beautiful Parliament House are only some of the beautiful buildings in Budapest. It was a joy to walk on the bridges and the streets absorbing the atmosphere. The boat trip at night on the Danube rivals the boat trip on River Seine in Paris. The whole trip was conducted in a very friendly yet professional manner. We just had to present ourselves in the morning and the whole day?s itinerary was taken care of. The restaurants for lunches and dinners were carefully chosen for the ambience as well as to cater for our various dietary requirements. We would highly recommend this tour to everybody, but especially to those who want to see the ?other? Europe. Thank you, Divya and Sona Tour, for giving us a fabulous break and we look forward to more such holidays with you in the future. ANIL & NIMU MALDE: LONDON - 2008
"The trip was very enjoyable, we were happy with the reception that we received and the way we were made to feel welcome" Mrs Saima - Oldham UK (Paris)
CLASSIC EASTERN EUROPE TOUR Absolute Brilliant, countries were worth visiting and were historical, informative and an insight to different cultures Recommend highly to all. Sona tours made the visit very pleasant and the hotels were of very fine quality, food (by the way 99% of us were pure vegetarians and the food was of excellent taste & quality) and the day tours were brilliant, secure and making friends with people you have never met before.
?A must for all? A small insight from our tour of Eastern Europe (May 2008) My wife and I went on the Classic Eastern Europe, 7 day tour to Prague (Czech Republic), Vienna Austria) and Budapest. The highlights of the tour were the visits to the Ossuary Sedlec Chapel in Kutna Hora, renowned for its elaborate decorations made of more than 40,000 human bones, and the guided tour of the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest, which incorporates 42 kilos of gold into its design. In addition, some of the best memories of the trip came from the optional (and reasonably priced!) trips that Sona Tours offers and are not listed in the brochure. We saw a local Czech musical performance and a light show called ?Wow? during our evenings in Prague. Then, on the way from Vienna to Budapest, we visited SeeGrotto, Europe?s largest, underground freshwater lake where the Germans secretly made fighter planes during the war. Not to miss was the TAJ MAHAL of Hungary along the Danube on the way to Budapest. In Budapest river cruise by night on the Danube, is a beautiful way to spend the evening. Budapest a city worth visiting besides Venice and Paris. Our hotels stay in Budapest, incorporated spa, where we enjoyed pampering ourselves at the end of the trip. SCOTLAND POEM
We went to bonnie Scotland and back, Thanks to our guide, without losing track. On Aonach moor we played in the snow, And blissfully got covered, head to toe. Edinburgh castle; icy winds swirling through the sky, We absorbed its mystery, as the night grew nigh. Driving along and past the great Loch Ness, Witnessing Scotland, at its best. A visit to Distillery, where whisky is made, Even the masis were drinking it; like lemonade! A boat trip on Windemere, a most tranquil lake, Snow capped mountains around it, like frosted cakes. A memorable laugh, it was really rather great, A fantastic tour from Sona; Scotland 08! By Hannah, Ajay, Dina, Sangeeta and Dipesh Patel. ( Scotland: Easter 2008): Madhata Mandal Luton

My personal experience- In the beginning of my trip I was scared to be going with complete strangers for 3 days. But from the very first moment I met my tour managers my fear started disappearing and by the time we reached the hotel we were all good friends. And in the end of our tour we were all like a big family. Reshma and Sam are two absolute brilliant tour managers not forgetting the drivers." Nazma Patel - Blackburn.
